I’m a certified postpartum doula and the founder of SonderBound, supporting families through the tender, transformative transition into parenthood. Inspired by the idea of sonder—the realization that every person is living a life as complex and meaningful as our own—I believe every family deserves to feel truly seen and supported. My approach is compassionate, practical, and judgment-free, helping parents feel cared for as they recover, bond, and find their rhythm with their new baby.

My Story

’m a certified postpartum doula and the founder of SonderBound, a postpartum support practice rooted in compassion, connection, and the belief that every family deserves to feel seen.

The name SonderBound comes from the word sonder—the realization that every person has a life just as complex, meaningful, and deeply felt as our own. To me, that idea is especially powerful during the postpartum period. Every new parent arrives with their own story, expectations, challenges, hopes, and way of experiencing this enormous transition.

My role is not to tell families how they should parent, but to meet them where they are and offer steady, individualized support as they find their own way. I provide practical newborn care, postpartum recovery support, feeding guidance, emotional support, and light household assistance, creating space for parents to rest, recover, ask questions, and simply be cared for.

I believe postpartum care should extend beyond the baby. New parents deserve to feel nurtured, understood, and confident—not pressured to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, attentive, and judgment-free, with the goal of helping families feel a little more grounded during those beautiful, exhausting, and deeply transformative early weeks.

It’s an honor to support families during such a significant chapter of their lives. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: you deserve to be cared for, too.
