Birth changes everything: your body, your nervous system, your identity, your relationships. Whether your birth was empowering, overwhelming, traumatic, or simply intense, your body carries the story.
Somatic postpartum care supports healing not just physically, but emotionally and neurologically.
This is a space where your whole experience is welcome.

What Is Somatic Postpartum Care?

Somatic healing is body-based therapy that helps regulate the nervous system, release stored stress, and restore connection between body and mind.
After birth, many women experience:
-
Feeling disconnected from their body
-
Birth trauma or medical trauma
-
Pelvic tension or numbness
-
Anxiety, hypervigilance, or shutdown
-
Overwhelm and nervous system exhaustion
-
Difficulty resting, even when baby sleeps
-
Identity shifts and loss of self
Your body isn’t broken.
It’s responding intelligently to a massive life event.
Somatic care gently helps your system complete what it didn’t get to finish during birth.

I’m Alexi Neal, a Holistic Postpartum Doula, Trauma-Informed Somatic Healer, and mother of two. With over 13 years of experience in yoga therapy, energy work, and somatic healing, I support birthing clients with deep, embodied care.
Having experienced postpartum anxiety myself, I understand how essential compassionate support is for new mothers. I create a safe, nurturing space where women can reconnect with their bodies, process emotional shifts, and find balance during the postpartum season. My goal is to help mothers feel held, nourished, and whole—empowered to embrace their journey with confidence, grace, and self-compassion.
