A Little Bit About Me

I'm a Certified Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, and Certified Infant Sleep Specialist. I have been working as a Doula since 2013, and can’t imagine doing anything else.  My call to Doula work started in 2007 after the birth of my first baby, Luca. I found myself at home alone with a tiny newborn and a painful c-section scar, struggling to breastfeed, and not knowing who to call for help.

As her my grew, I became more and more passionate about breastfeeding and all things postpartum. I was certified as a Postpartum Doula and Lactation Educator in 2013 and have supported over 100 families since. In 2021, I obtained an additional certification as an Infant & Family Sleep Educator.

The importance of a support system in those early days can’t be understated, and it can be hard to ask for help. As a seasoned Doula and also a Mom, I firmly believe that there is no one “right” way to parent. My philosophy is to meet families where they are, offer support, strategies, and solutions, and give parents the confidence to find what works for their family. I prioritize staying on top of the latest research and products in order to give families the best opportunity to make educated decisions.

When I am not supporting families, I love to spend time with my husband and children enjoying the outdoors in Colorado, traveling, sharing meals together, and spending time at home with their rescue pets.
