A Little Bit About Me
I’ve always had a deep love for nurturing others, and having grown up in a large family, I’ve spent much of my life surrounded by babies and supporting new parents through the tender weeks after birth. But it was my own experience with postpartum struggles that truly called me to this work. I know firsthand how overwhelming and sometimes lonely those early days can be, and I’m passionate about making sure new mothers feel seen, heard, and supported. I have a special interest in mental health because I truly believe that caring for a parent’s emotional well-being is just as important as caring for their physical recovery.
I strive to create a calm, grounded environment for families and their newest little ones, helping parents recover, reconnect, and gain confidence during one of the most transformative times of their lives. People often tell me I have a calming presence, and I’ve learned that sometimes the most powerful support comes not from doing, but from simply being—being present, patient, and a steady, kind presence when someone needs it most. I’m a natural listener and love learning about each family’s unique journey.
Before becoming a doula, I was a professional beekeeper and a professional photographer, roles that taught me patience, attentiveness, and the beauty of holding space for life to unfold. When I’m not supporting families, I love spending time with my husband and two kids, exploring the outdoors, hiking in the mountains, or walking and playing with my dog (I can’t resist stopping to greet every dog I meet!). Movement, music, and nature help me recharge and inspire me to show up fully for the families I serve.
