I'm Lorena

Hi, I’m Lorena Teran (she/her), CLD, CPD, CCCE, CLC. I’ve been working with families and their little ones for over 30 years, in a variety of roles that have allowed me to support parents from pregnancy through early childhood.

 

Born and raised in Panama to a North American and Panamanian parent, I grew up immersed in multicultural experiences, and now I’m a proud mother of three amazing young adults.

 

I’m passionate about empowering birthing people to trust their bodies, strengthen the connection with their children, and nurture each member of the family so that a personalized balance can be achieved. My devotion is to help parents advocate for themselves during childbirth, recognize their own strength, honor the work babies contribute during birth, and ensure proper postpartum recovery.

 

I bring tools and techniques that help ease pain, fears, and the unknowns of labor, while enhancing parents’ trust in their innate abilities. I love supporting families as they welcome their newborns and continue building strong, life-lasting parent-child relationships. Living in Gypsum, CO, I cherish nature, respect individual decisions, and am dedicated to promoting harmony in families and communities worldwide.
