Hi, I’m Tara! I’m a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with 14 years of experience supporting families from diverse backgrounds. I help parents embrace their unique postpartum journey with confidence, providing guidance, reassurance, and hands-on newborn care tailored to each family’s needs.

A Little Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Tara! My fascination with pregnancy and the postpartum period inspired me to become certified as both a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and Postpartum Doula (PPD). For the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising children.

My journey began with nannying, which connected me with many new parents and allowed me to witness their families grow over time. Working with families from a wide variety of cultures, traditions, religions, and family structures has shown me that there are countless ways to welcome a baby and care for them after birth. Society, often influenced by social media, can create narrow expectations of what postpartum and newborn care “should” look like—but every family’s journey is unique.

I love encouraging parents to embrace their own path with confidence, free of doubt, and to celebrate the special moments of their family’s newest chapter.
